happy new year 2010!

it's soon time to bid farewell to 2009, and welcome a brand new 2010.
it's been quite a year for me.. the goods and bads, the ups and downs, the beginnings and ends...

special thanks to all of you who's been there for me in a way or another, who's somehow helped me become a better, stronger person. thank you too, for reading my blog, for entertaining my sometimes insignificant raves and rants.. and making me feel appreciated somehow :)

here's to everyone - a better and more beautiful year ahead.
enjoy, and have a blast of a time tonight!

snowy winter, here i come...

it's just passed midnight 14 december 2009.
i've hit my big 30 mark this year, and today will be the first time in my entire life that i'm going to experience a snowy winter :)

both excited and nervous at the same time.

having grown up and spent all my life here in tropical Singapore, i have no clue what to expect of a freezing cold sub-zero degree winter.
temperature at my destination is already at an average of -7 degree celsius now and it will only get c-o-l-d-e-r *grrrr*...

for many years, i've imagined my first winter experience to be be somewhere in north america.
but life's full of surprises anyway *smile*... in the morning when i wake up, i'll be on the plane to Beijing, China.

yes, my first freezing winter will be in Beijing... and then to Tianjin, followed by Shanghai.

it's going to be quite an adventure for sure :) i'll update how i managed in the cold when i'm back...

ciao!

aren't these the cutest winter fashion for newborns?

i don't know why i'm looking at these.. lol.. i don't even have kids of my own. i guess it's influence from friends and colleagues who've recently welcomed little babies into their families :)

anyway, i saw these on Old Navy's e-newsletter today.. and just wanted to show them to everyone. the winter onesies are especially adorable! (check the website for more) the prices aren't exorbitant plus there are some holiday discounts going on.. and i know Old Navy's clothes are usually pretty decently made.

so if you still have some time, do some online Christmas shopping today for your own kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews or friend's kids...

this hokkien song made me cry...

(courtesy of toni lie on youtube)

yes.. this hokkien song brought tears to my eyes.
the melody is lovely, but it's actually the lyrics that really tugged at my heart strings... such a sweet song... (lyrics - simplified chinese translation here)i often forget how beautifully touching some of these hokkien songs can be, especially the super sad crooning ones :) i really love this one, especially those last two lines that go something like..

(1st verse) "when the time comes for us to go back (die), i will let you go first, because i can't bear to leave you behind to cry for me.."
(2nd verse)
"when the time comes for us to go back, you will have to let me go first, because i can't bear to watch you cry for me."

so "awww", so poetic, isn't it?

many people (especially within Singapore) tend to find the hokkien dialect kinda crude or vulgar - no offence to my hokkien friends please. i guess it's not so much the dialect (or language) itself, but perhaps because it's the dialect more commonly spoken here by the less educated, older generation, hooligans, gangsters etc... hence when one speaks hokkien here, the tone somehow ends up sounding very "beng" or "lian", quite unlike the more refined manner it's spoken in taiwan
.

i don't speak much hokkien myself (my dad's a teochew, mum's a hockchew) but having grown up in an old neighbourhood, spending much of my childhood years hanging around a traditional hawker centre, interacting with heartland kids, old aunties and uncles... i wouldn't say it's a totally foreign dialect to me either.

earlier tonight, my colleagues and i went to watch the opening show of Broadway Beng - Jiak Liu Lian (Dream Academy production; written and performed by Sebastian Tan; directed by Roystan Tan). the entire perfomance was about 70% hokkien, 30% english (or rather, singlish), so if you didn't understand hokkien, you'd probably miss out the essence of the show. Sebastian Tan, as usual, is a real star. performing alongside 8 supporting "chio bus" (pretty babes), he literally one-man hosted, joked, sang, danced, discoed and glitzed through the 1.5-hour show, very entertaining, dramatic and hilarious (though i still find his performance as The Queen in Wild Rice's Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs more outstanding). Broadway Beng is like an "atas" (high-class) getai, a little bit of broadway, a little bit of suburban housing estate flair :)

one of my favourite performance tonight was when Sebastian Tan did a very soulful and heart-wrenching rendition of the above hokkien song 《家后》 ("wife") . he sang it really well, so moving, literally brought me to tears - fortunately the lights were dim enough for me to secretly rub away those tears before anyone noticed *smile*.. yea, i'm a softie, i cry at movies, perfomances, concerts etc.

just wanted to share...
couldn't find the version performed by Sebastian Tan himself, so i showed the version by taiwanese singer Jiang Hui instead. enjoy this if you understand hokkien :)

the prettiest "phua chu kang boots" ever ;)

i saw a snapshot in the chinese newspapers 2 weekends ago, and just had to log on to this website to check out the full range of - rain boots! soooo cute...

given the current monsoon season here in Singapore, there's really no better time to get yourself one of these adorable and functional pairs of "phua chu kang boots" but in a much prettier version :)

i'm so in love with the black-white polka-dot pair (US$59.95).. and of course, the tokidoki ones (US$74.95) too!
priced from US$49.95 (for adults) and from US$24.95 (for kids), splurge on one of these shiny rubbery pairs for yourself and you'd definitely be the centre of attention the next time you walk out in the rain :) stay warm and dry in the cutest, prettiest way.

yumm yumm yumm...

i went to paragon's Market Place to pick up a can of whipped cream the other evening (prop for a friend's wedding "gateholding" session in the morning - aka groom and "brothers" sabo games)... and got distracted by the endless shelves of imported snacks and goodies in the tidbits section *oops*.

of course i couldn't resist and just had to pick up a few packs of sin :P lol.
i'd never seen these before, so all the more it's worth the try ;)

item #1 - Alexia crunchy snacks waffle fries:

i'd just opened a pack of the waffle fries (bold & spicy BBQ)... ooh trust me, this tastes AS GOOD as it looks ;) totally yummilicious! and definitely worth the S$4.65 price tag + the 2 million calories on top of that.. hehehe.

i like how the potato chips are thickly sliced into waffle shapes, crispy and heavily seasoned (as with most tempting but so-bad-for-health snacks) yet still leave you with the fragrant and slightly charred potato flavour after the salt and all settle in your mouth. mmmm.. yumm! this is very good indeed.

i'm glad i've still got another pack of the same thing in aged cheddar cheese (doesn't that sound so much better than just "cheddar" or simply "cheese"? lol) and another pack of
Boulder Canyon cooked potato chips in jalapeno cheddar.

so that's quite enough sinful chips for today, i shall review the other two packs another time.

meanwhile, go grab a pack or two at your nearest Market Place. still so many other flavours to try (the onion strips from Alexia crunchy snacks look very interesting too)... now i know what i'll be bringing to the year-end holiday parties this year :)

oh, and if it makes any difference.. the Alexia crunchy snacks supposedly contain "25% less fat than regular chips" :P i always think such comparisons are relative and everyone's claiming they're healthier than other brands etc.... but if we're gonna pop open a pack anyway and if that makes us feel better, then i'll take their word. lol.

the Gap snow flake..

Gap sent out a 25% discount promotional email to newsletter subscribers on saturday, with a very cute picture on the email.

i like it so much, just had to put it up here to share *smile*....
the Gap human snow flake :) such a simple and cute idea!

and look at their holiday gift shop homepage, so cheerfully laid out, colourful and festive..
i can't wait for Christmas and the year-end holidays. looking forward to the little break.

ho. ho. ho...

PS: since we're on the topic of Gap's advertisement for this holiday season, check out recent controversies on this same Gap advertisement campaign/commercial. i shall not comment on this... but go read the article, watch the Gap commercial and make your own judgements :)

voce christmas 2009 makeup catalogue

i don't buy as much makeup now as i had at a certain point in my life.. hehe :P i'm sure most.. maybe many.. or at least some women go through that phase anyway, but as you can tell from my blog entries, i still go gaga over them very often, especially those pretty holiday sets or special edition packaging. i may not buy all that i see and fancy but that doesn't take the joy out of browsing through the array of dazzling, sparkly, fluffy and luxurious holiday gift sets aggressively offered by all the big cosmetics and fragrances brands :)

if you enjoy looking at and drooling over pretty makeup sets like me, then you'd definitely appreciate this 2009 Christmas coffret e-book (holiday makeup catalogue) from japanese magazine - voce :)

have fun!

ps: nope, i don't read japanese language either but it's the pictures that count, isn't it?

just buns

i had a meeting at client's office this morning, and since I was in the vicinity, offered to buy Choc n' Spice muffins back for my colleagues from Tanjong Pagar Plaza. those muffins have always been a hit in the office, most of us love the not-too-sweet, soft on the inside, slightly charred on the outside texture of the muffins :) not to mention the easy-on-the-pocket prices and variety of flavours too...

anyway, right next to the Choc n' Spice store used to be Chewy Junior - another mini bakery chain that sells some chewy little pastries. today as i was waiting for my muffins to be packed, i noticed that Chewy Junior had been replaced by a new store (but also from the same parent company) Just Buns - petite cinnamon buns with cream toppings (almost like creamy donuts).

you folks know how i love to try new pastries and such *smile*.. and since it's Friday (TGIF mood), i decided to pick up half a dozen mixed flavours for the office too.
these buns are tinier than the traditional cinnamon buns but are surprisingly soft and cinnamony *yumm*.. plus the cream cheese or chocolate toppings add an interesting kick to the overall taste, nice! priced between S$1.00 - S$1.40 each (or S$7.00 for half a dozen), i'll definitely be back for more, especially the next time i'm meeting the same client again :) i personally prefer the savoury melty cheese flavours.

Tanjong Pagar Plaza is the only store at the moment, new store opening in january 2010 at 313@Somerset basement :)

ps: just saw on the just buns website that there're some very local flavours -
just chempedak and just durian - too, but didn't see them on display this morning. i'm not a big fan of durians anyway :P

update: as of april - may 2010, the just buns store at Tanjong Pagar Plaza is not longer in operation. check the website for details.

jingle all the way.. punjabi style

no offence to anyone, but try keeping a straight face as you watch and listen to this "Jingle Bells" with a different twist. lol! very entertaining. and the tune kinda sticks in your mind even after the clip ends :P

potato spicky

it poured cats and dogs out at lunch today and since none of us had brought an umbrella out, a few colleagues and i took a slightly longer lunch and shopped the minimart near the hawker centre while waiting for the rain to stop (or at least lighten into a drizzle).

you can always find the less common snacks at these neighbourhood minimarts... things you never quite see at the larger supermarkets. today, i randomly picked up a box of these crunchy potato sticks snacks (S$1.30 each) - potato spicky. made in thailand under the glico label, there were 3 different flavours on display - original, cheese and sour cream & onion. more flavours/photos shown on flickr.

i have to admit such snacks are not exactly the wisest of choice for health's sake, but i'm just always curious to try it out anyway.

verdict - it's an instant burst of savoury cheese flavour from the first bite! surprisingly tasty! and i guarantee you won't be able to stop just at one stick :P it's very very yummy (i attribute it to the MSG content, even though i can't read a single thai word on the box). lol. i passed it around and everyone loved it too.

as for me, i'm gonna restrict myself to just this one box, figured it's just too tasty and salty to be good *oops*. but if you have not tried this before, worth doing so at least once. it is really tasty and a tad bit addictive too. some colleagues say it tastes a little like the jack n' jill "roller coaster" potato snacks... only cheesier :) so give it a try and give your own take on it - just drink lots of water after that.

just thought i'd share...

kittylab singapore is here (14 - 29 nov 2009)

i stumbled into this website from a golden village enewsletter, and even though i instantly recognised that it has to be something to do with hello kitty, i just couldn't figure out what exactly this kittylab thing is all about...

several google searches later, i finally understood (or at least got a rough idea) that this is an upcoming gaming arcarde-like hello kitty exhibition at the Singapore Expo, organised in celebration of hello kitty's 35th anniversary. visitors will get to shape their own hello kitty character's personality by playing different games through the exhibition stations.

(courtesy of MrFokq on youtube)
the entire course takes approximately 40 mins. to complete.. after which each visitor will get to bring home a little souvenir badge (sorry, NOT the entire kitty doll.. lol) with their own unique kitty personality printed on it.

sounds like quite an interesting concept...

i'm personally not a hello kitty fan, though i do get attracted by some of its pretty merchandise sometimes. given the popularity of hello kitty in asia, plus the year-end school holidays commencing this weekend, i'm sure the exhibition will be a big hit here, just the way it was in its earlier exhibition in Hong Kong.

what a nice lunch :)

haha.. this is actually quite cool and entertaining, wish there are such surprises here in Singapore.. i'm sure it would make lunch so much more fun, and funny too! :)

(courtesy of ImprovEverywhere on youtube - via @simon723, @anncurry, @improvevery on twitter)
btw, I LOVE LUNCH too! hehe..

i fell in love with this song recently..

i recently purchased a light jazz double-disc CD set, and i've been playing it every morning when I dress for work (and sometimes before bed). i've only realised now it's so nice and relaxing to sway a little to the off-beats of jazz music, lifts your spirits, lightens the mood... no wonder those fashion retail stores always play jazz instore - attempt to make you shop more :)

from the album, i've found a couple of favourites that i just have to listen to over and over again (until i get sick of it lol). here's one that i'm loving a lot at the moment - "a love that will last" by renee olstead.

to be honest, i never heard of renee olstead until i googled for information/lyrics to the song. then i read from comments that she's that young neighbour character in movie "13 going 30" starring jennifer garner. oh wow! and if i didn't tell you, i bet you wouldn't believe she sang this beautiful jazz piece when she's only 15 years old! incredible huh? such an old soul voice on a young person... and she sang it very well :) i like it.

i want the Harajuku Lovers Snow Bunnies gift set! :)

i first saw the Harajuku Lovers EDT collection in September 2008 when I toured Seattle.
fell in love instantly, and brought home the solid perfume set + the Gwen doll (0.33 oz/10ml mini version).

now take a look at the limited edition Snow Bunnies collection for winter 2009!

sooooooo festive, sooooooo adorable, aren't they? and the dolls have rosy cheeks! hehehe

i'm glad they'll finally be bringing the 10ml tinier version into Singapore (i don't like the bigger bottles, find them too chuncky), and i can't wait to get my hands on the entire set! yay! big splurge! ;p target to launch mid-next week...

or maybe i should always just collect the "G" Gwen Stefani doll version for each and every of their future limited edition seasonal collections... hmm..

anyway, don't forget to check out the super cute "doll-house" container for the whole set too! definitely a collectible item *swoon* lol.

get yours from Sephora US stores at US$100 (entire set), or SG$38 per doll/bottle locally - CK tangs, takashimaya, BHG etc.

brilliant ad. - samsung's guide to taking better pictures...

(via @benkoe @danielgoh @samsungsg on twitter - courtesy of AngelsorAngels on youtube)

hahaha.. simply awesome!
definitely viral!
kudos Samsung!

great ad. aside, this is a great product too!
companies should have launched a digicam with a self-portrait function/mirrored screen ages ago! wonder what took them sooo long to get here :)

find out more about the dual-touchscreen LCD samsung T550, plus reviews here.

guess who's the next up and coming "Playboy" cover girl?

as though we ladies don't have enough real-life competition vying for attention with the men in our life, look who else is joining the "every man's dream" league as the next nude cover girl on the upcoming November issue of the Playboy magazine.....

*whistle* ;)
"The magazine promises a story inside on "The Devil in Marge Simpson," an interview and more pictures, including a centerfold pullout.

Playboy said Marge will be the first cartoon character to grace the cover of the magazine, which has featured movie stars, athletes and other celebrities through the decades in addition to the usual 'bunnies.'" (abstract from yahoo news article)

i wonder if guys will now get turned on the next time they see an episode of The Simpsons on tv... hmm...

perhaps Marge Simpson may also suddenly become the hottest dress-up character for this year's halloween parties ;)

this is a P.S.L.E. math question...

this is what a primary 6 (12-year-old) student had to answer in this year's Primary School Leaving Examination (P.S.L.E.) mathematics paper:

"Jim bought some chocolates and gave half of it to Ken. Ken bought some sweets and gave half of it to Jim. Jim ate 12 sweets and Ken ate 18 chocolates. The ratio of Jim’s sweets to chocolates became 1:7 and the ratio of Ken’s sweets to chocolates became 1:4. How many sweets did Ken buy?"

supposedly, students are now allowed to use calculators for some sections of the math paper (including the one above).

so what do you think?
is this too demanding/difficult for them?

click here to find out the answer to the math question above (scroll to the end of the article: Parents up in arms again over PSLE Mathematics paper).

ps: i have to admit it took me quite some time to finally get to the answer *oops* :P

thanks to "Fences": now you see it, now you don't...

thanks to a brilliant recommendation from a friend, my computer desktop looks amazing now! :) if you're like me who likes to maintain lots of shortcuts and icons on your desktop for easy access to project folders and files, then you might want to check out this free program - Fences.

not only will you be able to maintain your icons, "fence" and label them into specific groups, you can also customise your look, make them appear and disappear as and when you want them to - just by double-clicking on your desktop :) this way, you can show off your favourite wallpaper in its full glory and still have easy access to those many many icons anytime. simply brilliant! *smile*...

so now you see it, now you don't!

PhotoSketch - cool application that makes you go WOW.

i'm not sure if this application/software - PhotoSketch (Internet image montage) - is actually available in the market yet, but spend a few moments to a look at the video below, and you'd be so wowed by the ingenuity of it all. (featured in SIGGRAPH Asia 2009)

(original reference on mashable.com)

in summary, here's how the tool works (abstract from mashable.com):
  • Step 1. Draw the outlines of the figures you want in your picture – anything from seagulls to a Mercedes, whatever tickles your fancy.
  • Step 2. Add labels for each of the items, as well as for the background.
  • Step 3. PhotoSketch will then find real-life images to match your doodles and put them together in a Photoshopped image that will make your jaw drop.
another simple example of how fast and far (scary too!) technology has advanced ahead of us... a very powerful tool for graphics search and image creations, i can definitely see many people making use of this. mind-boggling.

singapore tv commedy - sayang sayang

i'd only managed to catch some odd episodes of this local tv drama serial - "sayang sayang" - from the 1st season, as well as the just-ended-tonight 2nd season "sayang sayang 2". even so, this is actually one of my more favoured local tv series from mediacorp channel 5, light-hearted, sweet and funny in a heart-warming manner. i find the modern peranakan (straits chinese) theme interestingly portrayed by the cast (though some of my nonya colleagues disagree), a very different style from that of channel 8's former "little nonya" blockbuster.

one other thing that i really like about "sayang sayang", is the show's very dick-lee's style theme song - which i don't even know what the title is :) nothing fancy, just a lovely, soothing and touching piece.

so, enjoy...

MSN/hotmail phishing alert

for those of you who have hotmail or MSN accounts, take a look at this phishing scheme announced by MSN yesterday.

seems like MSN is quite prone to hacks/attacks (but what's new?) *sigh*... so whether you're affected or not, it's best to just log in and change your password immediately (do so for ALL your MSN/hotmail accounts), just to be safe :)

how to change password:
1) from your hotmail inbox > scroll right down to the bottom, locate the "Account" text link at the right-hand corner.

2) click "Account" and you'll be lead to your accounts settings page > under "Password reset information", click "Change" next to your password field, then update accordingly.

voila! :)

red room revealed...

the answer to the little quiz in my earlier post today is...

an interesting composition of light, colours and shadows formed from this morning's rays peeking through my parents' red-curtain bedroom windows and projected onto the ceiling.

*tada*!
so did you guess it right? :)

a very simple yet beautiful sight, isn't it?
i like how the rays separated into different shades of red and created this amazing spectrum of lines on the ceiling.

just another one of nature's little surprises we're often too busy to notice while scurrying about our daily mundane routines.

wish it would get cold enough here..

just so i could find a reason to get one of these adorable cupcake beanies for myself! lol.. super duper cute with a cherry on top! love both "flavours" (vanilla/strawberry).

gets yours from fred flare at USD30 each ;)

why do we hiccup?

i've always had this question in my mind, yet for some weird reasons i've never gotten around to actually finding the answers to that until now.
the other day my 7-year-old nephew asked me "why do we hiccup?" and i didn't have the answer for him, so i promised i would research on that and let him know.

yesterday, i broke into this bout of hiccups. it would come and go after each meal and lasted about 5-15 mins. each instance. although pretty harmless, we all know how annoying hiccups are, especially when you're trying to get some rest or carry a conversation with someone. so finally, i sat down and googled around to find my answers.

in a nutshell, here's what happens when we hiccup:

"
Hiccups are the result of an action the body takes to protect itself. Hiccups can start because hot food has irritated the phrenic nerve near the esophagus, or when gas in the stomach presses upward against the diaphragm. The diaphragm separates the chest from the stomach. The diaphragm tightens and pulls air into the lungs.

But air can't get through and we feel a "bump" at the moment the air is stopped. So hiccups are a reflex action of the body trying to get food or gas out of the stomach, thereby irritating the diaphragm. This in turn, affects the passage of air in and out of the lungs. We feel this as a "bump" and say we have the hiccups." (extract from medical news today)

i'm still not sure how to translate that into child-friendly language for my nephew.. hehe :P guess i'll have to try when i see him at our family lunch later.

some readings:
- medical news today: why do we hiccup?
- medical news today: what are hiccups? why do we hiccup? how to get rid of hiccups

- BBC: why we hiccup?

guess what's this?

I took this picture on my iphone earlier this morning, guess what it is... :)

why have i gone PINK? :)

yes, PINK is one of my favourite colours - whether i want to admit or not - i just get drawn to pink items in my day-to-day life (i'm sure most ladies do too *smile*)... but this is not why i've gone all pink on my blog today.

for the month of october, in conjunction with the breast cancer awareness month, i will temporarily go pink both on celestial as well as on twitter :) so do your part, spread the awareness too... go pink for october.

the pink ribbon walk 2009

today, i did my very first charity walk in my entire life - the reebok pink ribbon walk (in support of the breast cancer foundation - BCF). not exactly a big feat but still a first anyway :)

my day started real early at 6:00am this morning (terribly early for a saturday, since i usually catch up on sleep over the weekends) ;) nonetheless, it's a really great way to start the day, especially for a good cause.

met irene at the Eunos MRT station around 7:30am and took the free shuttle bus to The Big Splash @ East Coast Park (ECP). the bus came very frequently, one in every 5 - 6 mins which was really good, since everyone were rushing to reach the ECP around 8:00am.

when we arrived at the venue around 8:05am, the competitive runners were already waiting to go at the starting line right by the beach. too bad i didn't make it there in time to cheer on my other gf who took part in the run, only saw her when she's back at the finishing point. most of the competitive runners completed the 5km route in under 30 - 45mins.

the mass walk started next at 8:45am - ladies and gents, young and old, some with dogs, some trendy mums pushing their baby strollers.. it was an interesting mix of walkers. it was also really nice to have a companion to walk with, the weather was great (slightly cloudy + nice sea breeze), we chatted and shared stories with each other as we brisk walked through the crowd. it took us about 1 hour to get back to the finishing line. irene even did a mini triumphant pose at the finishing line lol.

this was definitely a pleasant experience for both of us, it was fun.
now i'll consider trying the competitive run next year :)

october is the breast cancer awareness month, if you'd like to support the cause or make a donation to BCF, here are some interesting ways to show your support and spread the word:

the glamour to go III and glamour revolution look promising, though i really don't need anymore makeup lol.

finally, hello singapore.

following my post below on the geographical boo boo coach made on their website - calendar of events - looks like someone within coach has finally noticed the mistake (either that or someone pointed out to them).

so, the new calendar of events now looks like this (third square corrected):

no hello to singapore, but at least it's not hello china anymore.

the official opening of the flagship store at paragon singapore, has also been updated to 13 october.

coach's first-in-asia flagship store coming to paragon singapore

i first heard of coach opening a new store in paragon from carolyn, good news for coach fans like me even though i very rarely buy coach items locally.

today, i read that this new coach store - set to open in october 2009 at paragon - will be coach's first flagship store here in singapore, and supposedly a first-of-its-kind in asia too. very cool!

i'm definitely excited and looking forward to see and experience the new store (plus check out the limited edition handbags specially released in line with the event). wonder if i can get myself invited to the store opening next month.
anyone knows a coach sales assistant, employee or high net-worth customer? ;)

"Come October, leading American designer brand Coach will open its first flagship store in Singapore at Paragon, offering an assortment of Coach’s pinnacle products. A first of its kind in Asia, the store design concept will feature an intimate, residential New York attitude." (abstract from www.divaasia.com)

"To mark its Paragon opening in early October 2009, Coach has created a limited edition collection of handbags – the Park Metallic Slim Tote and Small Hobo. Available only at the Coach Paragon store, the Parker styles will be fabricated exclusively in luxe rose gold leather. The unique handbags are limited to a total of 100 pieces." (abstract from sph.com.sg press release - annex A)

something disturbing though...

take a look at the third square in the following "calendar of events" i just found on coach's website. i truly hope this is either a coincidental mix of two key events happening on the same day, a typo error, or just some random text that's not supposed to make any sense... but i have an inkling that somebody from coach's HQ marketing/web team has a serious problem with geography and identification between different countries in our part of the world. *BIG SIGH*. i'm saddened to see this (big discount on coach branding if that's true) *boohoo* :(
